Jen Tse (pronounced "see") is a photo editor, visual content strategist, visual producer, and creative consultant with more than a decade of experience across the photojournalism, media, and nonprofit communications industries.

Currently, she is a Senior Photo Editor at National Geographic, curating all photography, illustration, graphics, and video for the daily editorial newsletters from across all content pillars and platforms. In this role, she leads visual content strategy for the top driver of National Geographic's top KPI, and the most successful revenue-generating editorial product at the company.

In 2017, she was Newsweek's acting Director of Photography. Prior to Newsweek, she worked for TIME Magazine, NOOR Images, and 500px. Other clients have included the Natural Resources Defense Council, The Intercept, CNN, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, NBC, VICE, Foto8, Die Welt, Berliner Morgenpost, Copenhagen Post, Huffington Post, Globe and Mail, and more. Now based in New York, she has also worked as a visual journalist and editor in Toronto, Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Bangkok.

She has served as a jury member for the FotoEvidence/World Press Photo Book Award, the Turkish Photos of the Year Competition, the College Photographer of the Year competition, and The Fence at Photoville; as a reviewer for Women Photograph Portfolio Review, the New York Times Portfolio Review, Visa Pour l'Image Perpignan, the Bronx Documentary Center Portfolio Review, the Blink/ICP Portfolio Review, and the Northern Short Course Portfolio Review; as a lecturer at the Magnum/Canon Photo Workshop, and as a mentor in the Women Photograph Mentorship Program.

In 2018, she was awarded the National Press Photographers Association's highest honor for magazine editors, the Magazine Picture Editor of the Year award.

In 2022, she was one of 33 selected out of hundreds to participate in Poynter's Leadership Academy for Women in Media. (She was simultaneously selected for Poynter's Leadership Academy for Diversity in Media, but could only participate in one academy.)

In 2023, her work on Nat Geo's editorial newsletters received a Webby Award.
